Pros and cons of CycleMap app for iPhone and iPad

CycleMap app good for

Five star rating only to try elite version for 5 days free. Subscription based, basic mode is useful but highly censored, has adds.
Belle App. Bon support technique aussi. Nice app and great tech support.
Love how easy it makes it to explore any city by bike! Great for traveling
I live in Chicago and have used CycleMap often enough to feel confident subscribing. The routes are good, and the extra data you get for subscribing is really useful for picking routes and alternatives. There are good little features that make a big difference too, like marking locations as favorites for easy access later. Definitely give it a try and consider subscribing to keep more good stuff coming.
This app is well designed for cyclists, UI is outstanding. Welcome to the new age of cycling
This app is exactly what I was looking for . Super detailed and a great ride

Some bad moments

The free version was a frustratingly incomplete enticement to purchase the paid version. Specifically, there is not an available total travel time on the former; you need the latter to get this. I dont appreciate this kind of baiting.
Cant build route in China! Too many advertisements! Cant use for free even once!!! Dont download this app
This app does nothing. The Elite version might, but why pay for something that Google Maps provides for free? I strongly recommend against wasting your time with this app.
Terrible. Told me there was a bike path in places where there wasnt one, which occasionally put me in a difficult spot. When I got a little bit off the suggested path it ceased being functional (told me to get back on the suggested path but couldnt tell me how). Part way through my first trip using it I stopped because it wasnt helping me at all. This app is worse than useless. It doesnt give you the info you need and sometimes gives you false info.
Dont waste your time and use google map, it has same features unless you pay every month
Ive been trying to use the app within the tri-state area of New York, Connecticut and New Jersey and quite frankly your app is going to get me seriously injured if not dead. It has given me routes that cannot be accessed via a bicycle, routes that go against traffic in very busy areas, routes that cannot be accessed because of new restrictions. Also, there is an issue of battery drainage. 25% into my ride, my battery was completely drained because the app is constantly trying to find me on a route that I cannot access. I like the concept of seamlessly creating routes based on the amount of miles I want to travel, but these bugs are frustrating to say the least, and quite frankly dangerous!!! I took advice from the site to download a route and make it a favorite to have access to it offline to save battery life, but the route was somehow deleted from my device!! If had gone too far I wouldve been completely lost in an area I do not know!! I will no longer be using this app, since I am convinced it is literally putting my life in danger.
