I think its a good start, needs some work, but i think that it should be free.

Great idea. Nice app. Needs updating though. Loads really slow and not all trails are on the map in my area.

I definitely like the concept of this app. My biggest problem is how long it takes for the map to load, which could be a problem if Im using it in a fix around the area Im biking. It also only seems to have about 80% of biking trails, which is still a fair amount. Overall the app could use some improvements but its still a great concept for bikers.

They dont list many bike routes around me. I know that there are more than they list. Needs updated.

Like this app, good pics and has bike trails. Easy to use and will be helpful when traveling in nonfamilar areas. Will be sharing my success with my friends who ride.

This app is cool. Dont have many routes around me but thats okay. I thought it would be better for me but i was wrong. The app is very nicely done though!

CycleMap is an awesome collection of cycling roads of many areas all in one place. I found it extremely helpful in finding lesser known bike routes when Im riding cross country!

My co-worker has just recently moved here and has been asking me about biking trails. With this app I can now tell her where some are. I am definitely going to recommend this app to hed. Its awesome for all bikers!

I ride my bike everyday to school so I want to know the quickest way to get there. I just found out the route I take is much longer than the route the app suggested. I love this app because it specifically made for bikes and show the way to go. I found so many new route to places I go everyday. I cant wait to try them all!

This map is functional since it loads quickly and shows a comprehensive/detailed view of the bike routes in New York. I especially enjoy the color coordination between the bike path, lane, full direction path and steps, since it helps me easily navigate the most appropriate route. As specific as the app is (on par with google maps), I dont really see if Im tracking correctly or following the right route. I wish there were a blue tracker like in other maps that periodically updated me that I was going the right way. Regardless, it does get the job done by plotting accurate routes

I live that this app uses openstreetmaps. I can add and edit bike paths in my area and they will show up in the app! The developer will also return emails. Great to be able to have that cycle of feedback from a developer!

No ability to choose alternate routes or add intermediate destinations. This makes it useless. If I have a busy road Im trying to avoid, I have no option to do so in this app.

It wont even open. What a waste of a buck! Dont waste your time.

This used to be a nice app on my 1st gen iPad, but since he update it refuses to open.

This app sometimes does not consistently load all routes in a given area. For example, Minneapolis has a crosstown dedicated trail (29th street) that has appeared on the apps map at times, then other times it does not. In a word, unsatisfactory.

Some friends and I use this app for a trip we did from manhattan to upstate Ny. Within the city the app is great for locating bike routes for daily commutes and just finding safe bike paths to get around. However, we used this app for the majority of the trip and found the estimated times for travel and routes to be inaccurate. This was due to the fact that it doesnt account for the terrain or most direct routes to get from A to B. As a result we did not get to our destinations on time and were left unprepared for the difficulty of said routes. This left us to our own devices the majority of the time to navigate a better way. Definitely recommend this for local trips and not longer, extended travel.

Plus side - finds bike related routes, loads fairly quickly Suggested improvements - needs to offer turn by turn via voice. I was recently on a ride in NYC and I and to constantly keep pulling my phone out of my jersey pocket to see where I was going. I finally decided to use the iPhone nap feature and leave phone in pocket.

Needed an app to help me find new bicycle routes. Tried this one on my iphone 4. Loads a little slowly but finds routes that I know so I an cautiously optimistic about the rest of the app
