In order to try this apps premium features for free is to give it five stars. Ive never tried this app

Ive been trying to use the app within the tri-state area of New York, Connecticut and New Jersey and quite frankly your app is going to get me seriously injured if not dead. It has given me routes that cannot be accessed via a bicycle, routes that go against traffic in very busy areas, routes that cannot be accessed because of new restrictions. Also, there is an issue of battery drainage. 25% into my ride, my battery was completely drained because the app is constantly trying to find me on a route that I cannot access. I like the concept of seamlessly creating routes based on the amount of miles I want to travel, but these bugs are frustrating to say the least, and quite frankly dangerous!!! I took advice from the site to download a route and make it a favorite to have access to it offline to save battery life, but the route was somehow deleted from my device!! If had gone too far I wouldve been completely lost in an area I do not know!! I will no longer be using this app, since I am convinced it is literally putting my life in danger.

I am one of the early adopters and users of this app. Over the years I have had several email conversations with the app development/support team and was happy. Recently however I had a question and despite three emails I have received no response (ZERO)... For old times sake I am giving an extra star otherwise I would have given only one... VERY DISAPPOINTED.....

They told me to give them a 5 star review so I can use their paid subscription service for basic information about biking paths although everyone has to make money somehow I am broke.

I downloaded this app because I needed to get to an event a mere 1 1/2 miles from me. Unfamiliar with the surrounding area, I was looking for an app that would help me navigate the maze of one-way streets. The first disappointment was that the app requires a subscription in order to enable audio directions. I thought Id just pay the $4 and give it a try. On my ride I was frustrated to find that it was directing me to ride against traffic on a one way street. I wisely ignored its instructions and continued on to the next intersection. Not only was the app not rerouting me quickly enough, it also began to give me warnings that it couldnt locate me on GPS! I had already given it permission to use my location in settings, so I dont know what the issue was. After that I opened up my phones map app and it had no trouble finding my real time location. Riding a bike in a city can be dangerous enough on its own without an app giving crappy directions! It had no regard for my skill level. It directed me to a busy street where cars drive 45 plus MPH. That might not be a problem for frequent bike riders, but definitely not in my comfort zone. id be willing to give the app another try- perhaps tweak some settings and explore options EXCEPT that Im annoyed there is a monthly cost associated. Looking through the app settings, there is no simple way to cancel membership. That has not been the case with most other subscription apps Ive tried. Cancelling a subscription should not be a puzzle. Im giving this two stars, because it has potential. It needs to be more reliable, and more sensitive to bikers individual skill level and preferences. Otherwise, why not just use the free map app on my phone? If this was everything I hoped it would be, Id cough up a monthly fee. Until that happens, Im deleting this app!

The latest updates have turned Cycle mapped until the best biking app available.

All this app did was try to sell me a costlier version. I could not get it to even open.

My new installation (just installed the app the first time) does not work at all. Unfortunately.

Not that great. First, I paid for the app $6 for pro version a few minutes ago. I go to App Store and download new version. It says now Free is Pro (no pay required) and the Pro is Elite (yearly). So does it mean I spend $6 for nothing and I wont get rid of ads unless I pay $20/year? Or am I Im missing something? I may revise this review but right now its minimum rating. Other things.. I cant type street number without changing letter to number case after every character. There are no optimal routes. I only get one route. The additional info is a bit limited, not what I expected, but maybe I expected something else. Since latest update I dont get any information at all. When I try search route for a location within Toronto, I get message "Sorry no data available for this location"? Im waiting for response from their support team before requesting refund. But on the bright side of things - thanks for adding washroom locations. Thats really useful. I guess Im going to use this app primarily for that if it doesnt improve but I wont pay extra $$ for that.

Im not paying $20 a year for this, when Google Maps does almost the exact same things. Id pay a smaller amount once, but a subscription for this app is a complete joke. Deleted.

But your subscription rate is way too much. So many other free options out there. Like Google.

This app just gives you any dangerous street as a rout, it didnt point you to where the bike lanes are, and it constantly tries to get you to spend money on its premium package. There are tons of free apps that work better without the constant pop up premium stuff.

I really dont see why I must create an account to browse cycling maps. For extra features, sure. But what if I dont want extra features?

Love this app. Its really perfect for any cyclist. Always reliable and offers a ton of cool points of interest. Its always with me when I ride.
